so, I know I said I'd take a break but I've been obsessed with parrots lately and my best friend just got herself two kittens (who are too adorable! I thought I wasn't a big cat person as I am a dog person but I'm so in love with her two cutie pies!!) And somehow, these guys appeared in my head ^^
Breed name: Mischling (hybrid) cat
type: fantasy, feline with rodent and avian aspects.
Appearance: These cats range quite a lot in size but all have the same slender body type typically seen in siamese and oriental shorthairs. They should be graceful and elegant in appearance and and have a 'siamese' type head in profile. They have soft sleek fur which lies close to the skin. SPECIAL BREED TRAITS are rodent type ears (large and thin and rounded like a mouse) which are coated in fine fur rather than furless like a true rodent, and always have tufts of fur inside. Ears can be 'top eared' like a fancy rat or 'dumbo' like a dumbo rat. These cats also have a mouse-like tail, which is furless. Mischling's also have feathers! All cats will have feathers over their shoulders, on their elbows and on the rump (see the full body picture in the bottom right of the sketches.) Cats may also have a crest of feathers like a cockatoo or a ruff or mane of feathers (most commonly seen in males.) Some cats even have plumes on their heads or rumps like birds of paradise. Crests can be used in mating displays and rise and fall when a cat is interested in something. Feathers will ruffle and puff up when a cat is unhappy.
Mischlings can occur in any bird colour (raptor, parrot, finch, any type of bird at all) and in 'vulture' types (see top right headshot) can have bald heads along with a neck ruff. All cats will have whiskers, ever those with hairless heads.
Behavioural traits: Mischlings are friendly, vocal and very playful, they are also very loyal and form strong bonds with their owners, it is not unknown for these cats to accompany their masters on dog walks even when they have to travel in the car to do so!

What art-wise is required in exchange for a Mischling? I absolutely love the breed ^^
